Mobile, AL (August 9, 2022) – A pedestrian crash took place in Downtown Mobile on Saturday that left one man injured. On August 6, the Mobile Police Department and Mobile Fire-Rescue Department responded to a crash that occurred on Government Street.

Reports from the police in Mobile show that a male pedestrian, aged 60, was walking in the area of Government Street and South Scott Street during the afternoon hours.

At the same time, a vehicle was passing through the intersection. For unknown reasons, the vehicle struck the man, causing injuries to his lower extremities.

The victim was transported to University Hospital, where he underwent emergency medical care.

The incident remains under investigation at this time by the police in Mobile at this time.
