Mobile, AL (May 30, 2022) – One person has died due to a crash reported in the Mobile area on Friday evening, May 27. At around 9 p.m., the Mobile Police Department was dispatched to the site of a motor vehicle accident on Moffett Road.
Reports provided by authorities show that two vehicles were involved in a collision on Moffett Road at the intersection of Moffett court during the evening hours. The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles to end up in the eastbound lanes of Moffett Road. The second vehicle was on the southbound side of Moffett Road near a tree.
One person involved in the crash was fatally injured. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, details of other injuries are limited.
The incident remains under investigation by the Mobile Police Department.
