Mobile, AL (August 5, 2022) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Mobile area on Tuesday evening claimed one man’s life. At around 8:45 p.m., on August 2, the Alabama State Troopers were called to the scene of the crash that occurred in St. Elmo.
Police reports indicate that a male pedestrian was traveling in the area of Highway 90 and March Road during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, the man was struck by a vehicle that was passing through the area.
The male pedestrian suffered fatal injuries due to the crash. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the car remained on-site and spoke with law enforcement. The driver was not injured in the accident.
The police department is investigating the crash at this time.
