Fatal Car Accidents in Alabama
Fatal crashes claim the lives of hundreds of people annually in Alabama. These accidents can often be attributed to one of two categories – driver errors or mechanical failures.
Driver distraction is a big problem in Alabama, and it can cause accidents in a number of ways. One common way is when drivers use their cell phones while driving. This not only puts them at risk of getting into an accident, but also puts other drivers in danger as well. Another way that driver distraction can lead to an accident is by engaging in other dangerous activities while driving, like drinking or using drugs.
Mechanical failure is another common cause of fatal car accidents in Alabama. This usually happens when something goes wrong with the vehicle’s engine or transmission. If either of these things fail, it can lead to an accident that results in death. Other causes of mechanical failure that can lead to fatal car accidents include worn or faulty tires, broken brakes, and defective steering mechanisms.
