Gulf Shores, AL (June 7, 2022) – A boating accident reported in the Gulf Shores area left several people injured. On June 4, emergency crews were notified of a boat accident on the Intracoastal Waterway.
Reports provided by authorities show that a boat crash took place on the Intracoastal Waterway in the area between Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. A total of three people were injured as a result of the accident.
A 9-year-old child was transported by life flight to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola for emergency medical care. Two other people were transported by ambulance to area hospitals.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
