Foley, AL (October 14, 2022) – A 66-year-old man has died as a result of a pedestrian crash that took place in Foley on Thursday morning. On October 13, the Foley Police Department responded to a collision on Highway 98.
According to the police, at around 5 a.m., a 66-year-old man was walking at the intersection of Highway 98 and Hickory Street. For reasons that are still under investigation, the man was struck by a vehicle passing through the intersection.
The man was fatally injured due to the accident and pronounced dead at the scene.
The Foley Police Department has taken over the investigation surrounding this accident. No other injuries have been reported at this time.
