Baldwin Co., AL (November 2, 2022) – A fiery crash reported in Baldwin County on Friday claimed one woman’s life. On October 21, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported to the site of a collision that occurred on Interstate 10.
Reports provided by ALEA show that a 2020 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by a 27-year-old man from San Antonio, Texas, was involved in a collision with a 2015 Nissan Armada, which was driven by a 35-year-old woman from Cantonment, Florida.
After the initial collision, the Nissan then collided with a 2022 Freightliner tractor-trailer, which was driven by a 26-year-old man from Cypress, Texas. The vehicle was then struck by the 2020 Freightliner a second time.
The Nissan then caught on fire. The driver of the Nissan was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of the injuries she suffered in the crash.
No other injuries were reported.
Investigations surrounding the accident are currently underway.
